What this does
Email addresses are often scattered across documents, log files, email threads, and web pages. Manually finding and copying each one is tedious and easy to miss. This tool scans your entire text and extracts every email address into a clean, copy-ready list.
It handles real-world text — messy formatting, mixed content, and multiple paragraphs. Duplicate addresses are automatically removed so you get a unique list every time.
How to extract emails
- 1Paste your text into the 1-Click Cleaner
- 2Click the "Extract emails" button that appears automatically
- 3Copy the extracted email list
Why extract emails from text
- Build contact lists — pull addresses from meeting notes, documents, or email threads
- Process log files — extract user emails from server logs or error reports
- Clean scraped data — find all emails in raw HTML or scraped page content
- Save time — scanning paragraphs manually is slow and error-prone
Frequently asked questions
What counts as an email address?
The tool finds standard email patterns like name@domain.com anywhere in your text. It handles common formats including dots, hyphens, and underscores in the local part.
Does it remove duplicate emails?
Yes. If the same email address appears multiple times in the text, it only shows up once in the extracted list.
What kind of text can I paste?
Anything — email threads, documents, log files, HTML source, scraped web pages, spreadsheet exports, or plain notes. The tool scans through whatever you paste.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server or stored in a database.
Can I also extract URLs?
Yes. When URLs are found in your text, an additional extract button appears automatically. You can also try the 1-Click Cleaner for a complete cleanup.
The 1-Click Cleaner also cleans messy text and strips tracking parameters from URLs. Have a list with repeated entries? Remove duplicates from a list.
